PHOTO CONTEST "SQUARES OF BUENOS AIRES"

The City Museum invites amateur and professional photographers to participate in the photo contest "Buenos Aires today, a day in the squares"

1. Category Black and White.

2. Category Color.

3. Photographs should contain images of real squares in the city of Buenos Aires.

4. These photographs may not be in sizes up to 30 cm x 40 cm and less than 24 cm x 30 cm and in all cases the photo should be pasted on cardboard with a size of 50 cm high  x 40 cm wide.

5. The photos will be delivered to the City Museum; Defensa 219, by the day April 27, 2012, from 9.00 to 14.00 hours.

6. On the back of the card support, must be written the name of the author, title and name of the "Buenos Aires today, a day in the squares", will also be placed in a sealed envelope on the outside containing the same data and in your name, address, telephone, email and document number of the author.

7. Each participant may submit up to two images with different names under the conditions described above.

8. The awards consisting of photographic books by authors and diplomas

Second prize: in both categories, the jury will release its decisions before the July 31, 2012 and its decisions are final.

The winning photographs will become part of the collection of the Museum of the City, as well as a selection of 30 works that the Museum of the City deems appropriate to supplement the collection. All work will be exhibited with a date to be determined in this Museum. The City Museum reserves the right to display and reproduction of images, citing the author. The photos are not selected will be removed within 30 days from the date of decision of the jury.
