Neuquén will present its tourism at the FIT 2012
The Province of Neuquén will attend the International Tourism Fair of Latin America, which will take place November 3 to 6 at La Rural Exhibition in the City of Buenos Aires, where will be promoted tourist destinations for summer season 2012-2013.
The opening ceremony of the 17th edition of the fair will be Friday, November 2 at 19 pm in the Red Hall of the Fairgrounds.
The Province of Neuquén through the Undersecretary of Tourism and Neuquentur, with the support of the Federal Council of Investments (CFI), has set up a stand of 190 m2 located in the island of Official Agency Tourism "Patagonia Argentina" and in the National Sector of the Fair.
As part of the promotion of provincial destinations were invited all cities and tourist agencies authorized to be present in the space of the Province. Copa America: special edition in 2016 to celebrate the centenary
A special Copa America tournament in 2016 in the United States to commemorate the organization's 100th year.
Ten CONMEBOL teams will be joined by six CONCACAF nations in what will be known as the Copa America Centenario.
The USA and Mexico will automatically qualify for the tournament, while the four highest-placed countries at the 2015 Gold Cup will also take part.
The event will take place between the 2015 and 2019 Copa America tournaments.
CONMEBOL said at a meeting of its executive committee in the Argentine capital, that the tournament would include the 10 South American confederation teams, plus the United States, Mexico and four others from the CONCACAF region, which comprises North and Central America and the Caribbean. CONMEBOL also said Japan and Mexico will play in the 2015 Copa America as guest teams.
CONMEBOL said the event will be played in July, but offered few other details. It's the first time the event will be played outside South America and could be a huge financial success showcasing Brazil and Argentina to North American fans.
The event will follow the 2016 European Championship in France, which will be expanded to 24 teams for the first time.
